TITLE LOUISA
It’s a deciduous bush with oblong leaves and little white flowers during the summer. The name comes from Maria Louis, wife of Charles IV of Spain in the 18th century. Its leaves have a strong scent of lemon which is maintained even after its dehydration. A tranquilizing drink can be produced from its leaves. (10 grams per jar)

SAGE TITLE
Its name, Salvia Officinalis, comes from the latin “salvere” which means “to save, to heal” due to its medicinal properties. It is used to relish pork, chicken and cheese as well. As a beverage, it can do good for the stomach and offer relief from abdominal pain. ( 40 grams packing, 25 grams per jar)

SPEARMINT
Its leaves, green or dry, are used in cooking and are ideal for burgers, cheese pies and drinks. As a beverage they can have positive effect for the stomach. ( 20 grams packing, 15 grams per jar)

ORIGAN TITLE
Its name, Origanum vulgare which translates to “The joy of the Mountains”. Its leaves and flowers are put into use, both green and dry. ( 60 or 100 grams packing, 60 grams per jar)

THYME TITLE
It is widely used in cooking for meat and salads. ( 60 grams per jar)

PEPPERMINT
It resembles Spearmint but has more round leaves, which have a little purple on their edges, and is more sweet. It even gives a stronger scent. Peppermint is more common in pastry making. (15 grams per jar)

A scenting leaf that can flavour sauces and fruit salads. It’s an ingredient that you can really tell in a Pesto sauce that comes with spaghetti. Here’s an idea: We use olive oil, a spoon of garlic granule, a package of Matina Pine Nuts and several spoons of basil inside a blender. You can add Parmesan if you like. Lastly, you scramble the spaghetti with the sauce in a warm frying pan.

Mountain Tea has a soft pleasurable scent. In order to maintain its taste it is best not to boil it. Keeping it in hot water for about 5 minutes would suffice.
